I first visited Indonesia in 1990 and fell in love with the people, places, food and especially their creativity and spirituality. On my many return visits I have been invited to join celebrations at lots of different ceremonies by the warm, friendly Indonesian people. The “Cremation Celebration” celebrates the release of the spirit from this earthly plane and is the climax of spiritual life in Bali. As an Australian
this is so different to funerals here. The friendly insistence to join
