Thank You Andrew Jack!

AIAA NSW North Coast Branch would like to express our gratitude to visual artist Andrew Jack for his generous contribution from the sale of his paintings "Arnawa". Andrew, who spent many years living and exhibiting in Indonesia has donated $700 which will be used toward shipment and repairs of the Salendro Gamelan Orchestra which has been purchased by the Branch with a grant of $2000 from the NSW Community Relations Commission. AIAA member, musician Deni Tudirahayu (Oseng) has been assisting with the purchase and sending of the gamelan from Bandung, Indonesia. This gamelan will be the first community-owned gamelan in the NSW North Coast Region of Australia. Andrew Jack is permanently exhibiting his work at O'Ushna Gallery, Byron Industrial Estate, Byron Bay.
